Union Native began his career as a Dj in North Bay Ontario circa 2000. He quickly became recognized by promoters and club owners as an exciting act and natural talent. He went on to create his own sound company Voltentertainment and became one of the busiest First Nations acts in the True North. UN has performed 200+ shows from North Bay Ontario, to Winnipeg Manitoba. During these years he worked with multi-award-winning artist Joey Stylez. During his career he has opened for Hallucination (A tribe called Red), Lancelot Knight & Winnipeg’s Most. He expanded his talents into live theatre as “Richard Hyde Finch” in Norm Foster’s “Opening Night” and expanded his talent range while acting in the movie “Autumn Springs”. As a DJ, he accepted a Residency DJing for the Winnipeg Jets’ Farm team. During the pandemic, to create some cheer he founded The Social Distance Karaoke group. In 2024, Union Native became a front man and vocalist and he self-produced two songs, “Native Union” and “Master Plan”. UN is currently Living in British Columbia where he is working with producer Joseph LaPlante and they have released a track titled “Ogichidaa - Feeling better” and currently have an EP completed set to be released later in the year.
