Bryan Kootenay, known professionally as Kootenay MC, is a music artist from the Sucker Creek First Nation in Alberta, Canada. Kootenay began a whirlwind career back in early 2008 with various viral songs and videos. He is known and respected for his heartfelt tunes and unique writing style. 
 Kootenay MC gained wide attention on the internet and begain travelling across Canada performing with well-known big names in the Indigenous music scene, with collaborations, memes, and viral videos on all sorts of social media and music sites.

Kootenay MC’s creations have reached millions of views. He recently signed his first music label contract with Blessed/Stressed Street Records and producer Joey Stylez.
