incarceration, Chakita has since dedicated himself to personal growth, community leadership, and youth empowerment. His journey from hardship to healing gives his music an undeniable authenticity that resonates with listeners from all walks of life.

Chakita burst onto the Indigenous music scene alongside acclaimed artist Joey Stylez with their breakout track “It’s The Life”, which quickly became a rez anthem throughout the Prairie Provinces. His passion for collaboration continued with a notable feature alongside Pete Sands—whose music was showcased on the hit television series Yellowstone.
